Jess was my coach for as long as I can remember. While I also had other coaches along the way but coach Jess was always so uplifting & had such a positive attitude while coaching. She never made me feel bad or put me down, but instead she made me feel confident in my skills. She would always come to practice with new drills specifically for each individual gymnast. She really cared about each gymnasts but not just as a gymnast but as a person as well. She also wrote one of my letters of recommendation for college, which was more then I ever could Asked for in a coach.

Coach Jess is truly one of the most inspiring, enthusiastic, and energetic coaches I have ever met. We met her when my daughter started gymnastics at just 18 months old. From the moment we walked into the gym, she had this incredible aura about her that my daughter immediately gravitated toward. I will always be thankful that Coach Jess was her very first coach — I truly believe she is the reason my daughter fell in love with gymnastics almost instantly.

We started in a mommy-and-me class, and even after my daughter moved up levels and Coach Jess was no longer her direct coach, she never stopped cheering her on. They would lock eyes across the gym, and Jess would offer encouraging words or a quick smile that meant the world. Those little moments fueled her confidence more than she’ll probably ever know.

Now at just 6 years old, my daughter is working toward competing in compulsory Level 4, and I credit so much of that drive, confidence, and love of the sport to Coach Jess. Her wisdom, positivity, and genuine passion for gymnastics leave a lasting impact on every child she coaches.

When we found out she was moving across the country to open her own gym, we were heartbroken to see her go — but so incredibly excited for her. You can feel that this is her calling. She cares deeply about each gymnast and wants nothing but the absolute best for them.

Even now, if my daughter is struggling with a skill, I can send Coach Jess a video and within 24 hours she responds with corrections or encouraging words. When I read those messages to my daughter, the smile on her face says it all. That’s the kind of impact she has.
